Spring has come and the hoards of wee bird visitors have departed to other pastures. My blue tits are in the nest box and I saw an interesting sight last week. On the school walk I saw a blue tit going into and coming out of a nest site..behind the access panel on a street light. One interesting fact. Owing to the ravages of weather we had the gutters all replaced. We have had no starlings nesting in the roof this year and very few in the garden.
