Calling all Barn Owl enthusiasts.

Scottish Wildlife Trust Cumbernauld Naturewatch group has received funding from People’s Postcode Lottery to purchase and erect Barn Owl nesting boxes in three of our local reserves.

We are looking for a few people to come along with us on site visits to assess the best place to put the boxes, and then helping with the operation itself. You will learn about the needs of these birds, their hunting territories, their nesting preferences and finally the chance to help monitor the birds next year

This is a great opportunity for students , keen naturalists or anyone looking for hands-on experience in conservation.
